Pumpkin Time in Cornwall - Halloween Half Term at Badgers !

Wrap up warm, put your wellies on and mosey on down to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, where you will be in for some Halloween delights!
Follow the Heligan trail to meet 'the Good, the Bad and the Buggly' and come face to face with all sorts of creepy crawlies and creatures of the night.
Discover some fascinating facts about these nocturnal creatures, make yourself a creepy creature mask or introduce yourself to Branock - the cheeky resident scarecrow at Heligan and find out why his insect friends play an important role in helping to maintain the gardens.

'Hallowedon' at The Eden Project- 19/10 to 03/11
Creep on down to The Eden Project with the kids this half term and indulge them in an eerie, gruesome world of 'The Deep Dark Woods'. Are they brave enough to enter the Forbidden Forest and check out the outlandish spooks and beasts lurking in the undergrowth ..... ?
There are loads of alternatives for things to do at Eden this half term for littlies or the not so bold. From a great selection some our top tips include popping along to the Cryptid Petting Zoo, carving out your very own ghoulish pumpkin face and everyone's favourite - skating (or wobbling) around Eden's fabulously festive ice skating rink.

'Shriek -Wreck' Museum, Charlestown - 19/10 to 3/11
Visit the thrills and spills of the Charlestown 'Shriek-Wreck' and enter a ghostly, twilight world of spooks and creatures that go bump in the night! Take a tumble through time down the creaky steps to mysterious tunnels and be enthralled by story teller's spine tingling tales and haunting sea shanties of yesteryear!
Ghoulish crafts galore will keep the little ones amused as they get stuck into making a skull and crossbones mask and dressing up as scary ghosts and goblins - they will have Mum and Dad trembling in their shoes ....
There is much to see and do at Charlestown with the harbour, lovely craft galleries plus an excellent choice of restaurants and pubs to satisfy the most discerning palates ! Something for everyone to enjoy.
Shivers and Shadows, Squashbox Theatre, Bodmin - 21/10
Head on down to the Old Library in Bodmin this half term to see 'Shivers and Shadows' produced by Squashbox Theatre and meet up with Craig the friendly host, who will take you on a spine chilling trip around his creepy old mansion which he has inherited from his great uncle.
Be prepared to meet ghosts and ghouls, hear spine tingling screeches and see spooky shapes prancing by in the forest outside ....
All the family will enjoy this cauldron of clever puppetry, comedy, music and rhyme from the Squashbox Theatre- not for the faint hearted though as there will be bursts of loud noise, eerie folk and scary surprises.
Kids from 6 years up will adore this rollicking and rib tickling production, which is full of good old slapstick and spooky silliness, however kids be warned - you may need to reassure the scardycat oldies if they dare to join you !
